Google made my day again this morning when I discovered the small (but good) changes to the Gmail interface. Opening up my Gmail this morning, I saw the “new look” announcement, as you probably have (changes aren’t always rolled out at the same time depending on your geographic zone).
I immediately followed the “what’s new” link to read more about it. They’ve moved a few things around to improve the navigation and usability but most of all they’ve made huge changes to the Contact section. I find this new Contact page much clearer, as you can have a overall look at your contact’s primary email and phone number at once, without having to click your contacts one by one to view their details. New Find duplicates and merge and Auto-save functions, along with lots of small others new additions, make the contact section pretty sweet.
